Acclaimed artist and BBC television presenter Dermot Cavanagh is set to host a special two-day watercolour painting course at the Tanyard Hall, Gomshall, from June 28 to 29.

This informative and inspirational course offers a rare opportunity for art enthusiasts of all levels to learn directly from the renowned tutor behind the hit BBC TV series Awash with Colour.

In over 74 episodes, Dermot inspired millions of viewers and guided well-known figures such as Charlie Dimmock, Gloria Hunniford, and John Craven on their painting journeys.

Participants will receive expert tuition in watercolour techniques and complete a local landscape scene, from the initial sketch to the finishing touches, under Dermot’s guidance.

All painting materials are provided for use during the course, which runs daily from 10am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break at the local pub from 1pm to 2pm.
