Surrey-based franchisees win awards at the 2023 BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards

Founded in 1977 and with a strapline of ‘Discover Your Tomorrow’ the BFA (British Franchise Association), is the hub of franchising in the UK. The association strives to brighten people’s futures by showcasing the opportunities for businesses and individuals to transform their lives through franchising, whilst also providing an educational space and accreditations, governed by their high standards and a code of ethics.

The awards, often referred to as the ‘Oscars of franchising’ were held at The Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham on 9th November 2023.

Founded in 1929 and franchised in 1952, ServiceMaster Clean (Contract Services) is a member of the ServiceMaster Brands family. They provide bespoke commercial cleaning services to clients across multiple sectors.

Commenting on his win, Siva who has his head offices in Guildford from which he manages his commercial cleaning franchises in across the UK said: “I am delighted to win the ‘HSBC BFA British Franchisee Trailblazer Award’ and the ‘Franchisee People’s Choice Award.’ I want to thank the BFA and the audience for these awards and most importantly, my team. I would like to dedicate these awards to my management staff and the rest of my team.”

Acknowledging her “Judges Special Award” Angelina, who’s Iceking offices are in Croydon said: “Talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships – our franchise businesses scale-up culture.  This award is for each and every member of the Iceking family that have contributed to this success.”
