ZONE3, the UK’s leading triathlon brand, is awarded the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, recognising their success on the global stage. Based in Send, Guildford, the brand design and produce triathlon and open-water swimming products, which are now sold in over 35 countries worldwide. This is the second time that ZONE3 have won the award, having first been granted the accolade in 2019

ZONE3 was originally founded in 2004 by James Lock, a former elite triathlete, while at the University of Loughborough. The brand has grown organically due to its loyal and engaged triathlon community and consistently highly-rated specialist triathlon products. More recently, the brand has expanded their product offering to support the swim and SUP communities with sustainable wetsuits and open-water accessories.

The King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade recognises ZONE3’s continued growth and innovation on a global scale, helping their customers reach new limits.

My own background as a former athlete, innate passion for triathlon and my competitive nature, has helped me to build ZONE3 from a grassroots level to a global market player.

We are all delighted that our business enterprise has been recognised and this has been achieved thanks to an exceptionally talented, positive and hardworking team of staff.
