Run Thorpe Park 5k & 10k sees record participation and celebrates community impact

Chertsey, UK: RunThrough, the UK’s largest and Europe’s fastest growing running events company, is pleased to note that the highly anticipated Run Thorpe Park 5k & 10k took place on Sunday, September 1st, 2024, drawing record numbers of participants to one of the UK’s most iconic theme parks. This event offered runners an unparalleled experience, combining the thrill of a race with the excitement of a day at Thorpe Park.

This year’s event was a resounding success, with thousands of runners taking on the unique course that weaves through the park's exhilarating rides and attractions. The event sold out well in advance, highlighting its growing popularity and the enthusiasm of the running community for this one-of-a-kind race.

In a continued effort to give back to the communities where its events take place, RunThrough partnered with the Royal Surrey Charity as the official charity partner for Run Thorpe Park 2024. The Royal Surrey Charity supports vital patient care and services at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and the event provided a significant platform to raise both funds and awareness for their impactful work.
