The Square Camberley celebrates half term with free events

The shopping centre, located in the heart of Camberley, frequently hosts family events in the school holidays, and this May Half Term was no different with the arrival of their Birds, Bugs and Blooms events.

Running across the week, the events kept little ones as busy as bees in Central Square, with the full lineup of activities. Over 500 families enjoyed creating bug or flower fridge magnets with Little Bees Crafts, bird box decorating with Artful Kids, making a toucan with Creation Station and circus skills workshops with Prime Acrobatics who are opening soon in Camberley.

The events were free to attend and proved to be incredibly popular as the growing reputation for quality, sees many returning to each of the activity sessions across the week and every school holiday. Children enjoyed unleashing their creative side or getting moving at each of the events, as the perfect accompaniments to their day’s shopping at The Square. which is home to a wide range of High Street favourites and local independents as well as a fantastic offering of cafes and eateries.

Gavin Vidler, new Centre Manager at The Square Camberley, commented “It was great to welcome families back to The Square for Kids Camp this May Half Term, and see so many children getting involved in our activity sessions across the week. We are looking forward to an exciting summer with our Pirates and Mermaids event including a pirate play ship. Lots more plans are soon to be announced, so keep an eye out across our social media channels and website for more information coming soon!”
