Banstead School Wins National Education Award

Staff and Students at Banstead Infant School in Surrey are celebrating winning an award, which goes to the top-performing schools in the country based on national survey data.

The Edurio awards highlight excellence in specific areas, based on national survey data from the previous academic year. These awards recognise outstanding achievement and promote best practices across the education.

The Parental Feedback category celebrates schools that excel in creating meaningful partnerships with parents and carers, prioritising good communication and developing a strong and connected school community.

Banstead Infant School has won a regional Edurio award based on parental feedback:

  • Winner: Listening & Acting Award – Parental feedback

Andrew Burbidge, Headteacher, Banstead Infant School, said: “Our families are at the core of everything great about our school, and so to win an award based on parental feedback makes us all feel very proud. We are delighted to be recognised in this way, and it reflects all that we do for our children - and their families.”

James Nicholson, Interim CEO, GLF Schools, said: “The number of awards won by our schools is a real tribute to the excellent staff and leadership we have within our trust. I’m thrilled to see this well deserved recognition of their hard work.”
