Surrey village pub set to re-open following six-figure transformative investment

Much-loved pub The Europa Inn, East Molesey is set to re-open its doors next Wednesday, February 21, after receiving a six-figure investment from Craft Union Pub Company.

The new-look pub has had an uplifting refresh throughout and will hold a grand launch party across the weekend of March 1.

The community hub has had a complete interior revamp, with a fresh new look throughout, including new fixed seating, a brand-new colour scheme, a completely new, refreshed bar as well as new HD TVs installed, showing TNT and Sky Sports for all sporting enthusiasts to enjoy all the upcoming sporting action with drink in hand.

As well as this, the pub has also had a brand-new pool table and darts board installed, so locals can gear up for some friendly competition with friends.

With the summer months coming up, guests can also enjoy the revamped outdoor space, with plenty of tables, and two outdoor huts to enjoy a sip in the sunshine.

Pankaj, new operator at the Europa Inn, said: “I’m so excited to welcome guests back to the new-look pub. It’s completely transformed throughout, and our entertainment schedule is going to bring so much fun to the community. We can’t wait to see you soon!”

Pankaj is local to East Molesey, and is passionate about the pubs in the area, with extensive knowledge of the town. He will be running the pub along with his partner Ella, and as a duo, they have great experience, having operated several p

ubs across London. They also have lost of experience in hosting large events, in particular catering for sport enthusiasts, especially football, cricket, and rugby.

On top of the revamp and sports installs, the pub will also host weekly entertainment ranging from Tuesday ‘Killer Darts’ and ‘Quiz Union’ to ‘Open the Box’ on Thursdays, and music, karaoke, and sport across all weekends.

The fun doesn’t stop there, as the pub will be hosting a grand launch event across the weekend of March 1, with an ABBA tribute band on the Friday along with spectacular stilt walkers and fire breathers, a DJ party on Saturday, March 2, and a family fun day on Sunday, March 3, with a hog roast, magician, and face painting for the little ones!

The Europa Inn will partner with local charity ‘Momentum’, a community-based charity which supports families in the area with seriously ill children.

Whatever the outcome, the charity provides support and comfort to children and families so that no family has to cope alone.

Guests are encouraged to give generously to the local cause via various schemes in the pub, including charity boxes, which many customers in the area, including new operators Pankaj and Ella, hold close to their hearts.
