Three people have been sentenced following an aggravated burglary in Mytchett.

Surrey Police said that on Monday, February 5, 2024, Casandra Howlett, Melvyn Beech, and Jason Storey travelled from Guildford to an address in Mytchett where moments later they would ‘inflict fear and violence on their unsuspecting victim’.

A spokesperson for the force added: “When they arrived at the address, Howlett began banging on the victim’s door and demanding that the victim come out. When the door opened, Beech punched the victim in the face and barged into the address armed with a bladed article, believed to be a knife, followed closely by Storey.
