Fatal three-vehicle collision in Surrey village sparks police appeal

Police say they are appealing for information following a fatal collision in a Surrey village on Tuesday, April 2.

A statement from Surrey Police read: “Officers were called to reports of the three-vehicle collision, which took place on the A25 towards Godstone, around 8.10pm.

"The front seat passenger of one of the vehicles, a 13-year-old boy, was sadly declared deceased at the scene. The driver was taken to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

"The driver of the second vehicle was taken to hospital with an arm injury.

"The occupant of the third vehicle suffered minor injuries.

"The road was closed for several hours while emergency services, including the air ambulance, dealt with the incident.

"The investigation into the circumstances of the collision remain ongoing.”
