National Lottery: Surrey dad scoops £5.2m Lotto jackpot win
A husband and father from Surrey has won an incredible £5,259,007 on the National Lottery.
He landed the jackpot when he matched all six main numbers in the Lotto draw on Wednesday, June 18. The lucky winning numbers from the Lotto draw were 8, 15, 31, 38, 44 and 49.

The Surrey winner explained that he was watching a TV programme when he decided to check his National Lottery account.
He understandably admitted that he was in total shock when he saw how much he had won and promptly celebrated by sharing the monumental news with his children over a few drinks.
Talking about what this life-changing win means to him and for his nearest and dearest, he said: “I now feel totally stress free. This will make such a difference – not just to our lives but also to our children’s lives.”
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, said: “Wow, what incredible news for this lucky husband and dad from Surrey. Imagine settling down in front of the TV for the evening and then realising you are now over £5m richer!
“Nothing makes us happier than when we hear of our lucky winners wanting to share their prize with their loved ones, so we are so glad this lucky winner is choosing to change his children’s lives too. Huge congratulations!”
