Developer acquires 38 acres in Virginia Water and will tweak existing plans

Consero has bought land off Stroude Road, near Sandhills Lane with existing planning permission in place.
It says the current permissions include three “substantial” houses with more than 3,500 sq ft of living space spread across the five-bedroom detached homes – each within their own large plots of land.

Issuing a statement the company said: “Consero, a luxury developer of Surrey’s super-prime homes, has completed the acquisition of a prestigious 38-acre site on Stroude Road in Virginia Water, to create an exclusive gated community.
“The acquisition marks a significant addition to Consero’s growing portfolio of high-end, design-led residential developments in the world-renowned Wentworth Estate and across Surrey and the South East.”
Jason Lawrence, managing director at Consero, said: “The opportunity to transform such an expansive and well-located site into a private gated community of just 10 homes is incredibly rare.

“We’re confident this development will reflect the best of modern luxury living in one of Surrey’s most coveted locations, with the added benefit of acres of green space and mature woodland retained to make it even more private and peaceful for future homeowners.”
The company said it intends to submit its revised proposals to Runnymede Borough Council in the coming weeks to refine the architecture and layout although the number of homes will remain the same “to maintain its exclusivity”.
