FA Cup: Late goals help Horsham FC sweep aside Walton & Hersham – the match in 59 pictures

The Hornets ran out 3-0 winners at the Swans – where a goal and two assists from Charlie Hester-Cook sealed the victory and Dan Ajakaiye was also on target.

Horsham’s loanee goalkeeper Michael Dike produced a pair of excellent stops before the visitors went ahead with just nine minutes remaining, Hester-Cook firing home from Harvey Sparks’ cut back.

Dike then made another outstanding save before the Hornets put the tie to bed. Hester-Cook’s cross was superbly volleyed home by Jamie Yila with five to go to secure Horsham’s passage into the third qualifying round.

Returning Hornets hero Ajakaiye then added further gloss to the scoreline in the third minute of second half stoppage time.

The FA Cup third round qualifying draw will be released at 1pm tomorrow (September 21).

Ties will take place over the weekend of Saturday, October 3.

Horsham are back in National League South action this Saturday at Chelmsford City.
