Road closures: a dozen for Tandridge drivers over the next fortnight

Drivers in and around Tandridge will have 12 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• M23, from 8pm February 9 to 6am November 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 both directions, junction 9 to 9, Lane closure for communication works.

And a further 11 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M25, from 9.30am to 4pm on February 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 Anticlockwise, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure for vegetation works.

• M23, from 8pm February 12 to 6am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 southbound, junction 8 to 9, Lane closure for electrical works.

• M25, from 10pm February 12 to 6am February 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 Anticlockwise, junction 6 to junction 5, Lane closures for horticultural works.

• M23, from 10pm February 12 to 5am February 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M23 southbound, junction 8 to junction 9, Lane and link road closure road inspections, diversion via National Highways network.

• M23, from 8pm February 13 to 6am February 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 northbound, junction 8 to junction 9, lane closures for speed reinforcement camera maintenance.

• M23, from 10pm February 14 to 5am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 northbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane, link road, and carriageway closure for inspections, diversion via National Highways and local authority network.

• M23, from 8pm February 15 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 northbound, junction 9 to junction 8, lane closure for maintenance works.

• M23, from 8pm February 19 to 6am February 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 southbound, junction 9, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M25, from 10pm February 19 to 5.30am February 20, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane and slip road closure for electrical works, diversion via National Highways network.

• M23, from 8pm February 21 to 6am February 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 southbound, junction 9, Lane closure for maintenance works.

• M23, from 8pm February 26 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M23 southbound, M25 to junction 9, slip road and lane closure for maintenance works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
