Closure 'being considered' for pub and restaurant near Gatwick
Owners of a long-standing pub and restaurant near Gatwick Airport say they are ‘considering’ closing the venue.
Staff at Gatwick Manor at Lowfield Heath are currently involved in consultations with bosses. However, the business is still open and trading as usual.
A spokesperson for Greene King which owns the Chef & Brewer business said: “A team member consultation is underway at the Gatwick Manor as a potential closure is considered.
“Making the decision to close a pub is never an easy one and multiple factors are always considered before a final outcome is agreed.
“The team at the Gatwick Manor has been notified, and our main focus is on supporting our team members at this time.”
