Guildford pub reopens sporting brilliant new look
Customers can enjoy traditional pub hospitality with all the modern-day comforts at the newly reopened Wooden Bridge in Guildford.
The Greene King pub on Woodbridge Hill has an enviable position in the centre of town and is a great place for friends and families to stop off for a leisurely meal, to watch the latest sporting action or catch up for a chat and a drink.
Thanks to its six-figure, month-long refurbishment, the inside and out blend the best of a traditional pub with contemporary fixtures and fittings, offering customers a relaxing experience in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
First impressions count and the kerbside appeal has been improved to set the scene for the new look, while inside guests can enjoy enhanced bar and dining areas, a sports zone with pool and darts and TVs showing live Sky Sports and TNT Sports, making the pub a home from home for sports fans.

Ian Geldard, general manager of the Wooden Bridge, said: “It’s great to be back open to show off our fresh new look.
“The Wooden Bridge is the perfect place to enjoy good value food and drinks to suit all tastes, diets and occasions.
“Whether you’re here for a chat with friends, to catch the latest prime sports fixtures or enjoy a game of pool or darts, the atmosphere is warm and friendly.”
