Brownscombe Care Residences Celebrates Resident Betty’s 100th Birthday in Style
It’s a milestone worth celebrating, and Brownscombe Care Residences, part of CHD Living, has done just that as resident Betty marked her 100th birthday in spectacular fashion. Surrounded by friends, family, and the local community, Betty’s special week has been filled with heartwarming surprises, thoughtful gestures, and unforgettable experiences.
The celebrations began with a memorable day out at RHS Garden Wisley, where Betty and her close friends enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea, complete with fizz to toast the occasion. Back at Brownscombe Care Residences, Betty was showered with over 100 birthday cards from friends, family, other CHD Living care homes, and even children from Grayshott School, who hand-delivered their cards to make the occasion even more special.
One of the most treasured moments was the arrival of a birthday card from King Charles III, a time-honoured tradition for those reaching this remarkable milestone.
The grand celebration then continued on her actual birthday – on Thursday 19th December, when Betty was joined by her family for a special birthday party.
