YOU Trust Group announces new chief executive from Surrey County Council

The YOU Trust Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Hayley Connor as its new Chief Executive, taking over from Nicola Youern who will be leaving the organisation after 27 years in this role.

Hayley comes to the Trust from Surrey County Council where she is currently Director with responsibility for Integrated Commissioning.

With a diverse background in care and housing, she will oversee all of the YOU Trust Group’s operations, including My Learning Cloud. She will also lead the development of future strategy in line with the values that the organisation was founded on. A local person – she lives on Hayling Island with her family – and that connection to the local community and concern to build local services is a key reason why she was attracted to the post. 

The YOU Trust Group is really grateful to Nicola Youern for her remarkable commitment to the Trust and the people it is there to serve. She has led the Trust through a period of significant growth and development. The Group’s Chair, Steve Pitt said that “Nicki’s passion and dedication have been an inspiration to us all and she will be greatly missed”.

The YOU Trust Group has high hopes for continued success and growth under Hayley's leadership, and they are delighted to welcome her on board.
